Great Horned Owl Paintings

Young & adult owl paintings, each 11×14″, acrylic on board. I especially enjoyed studying the younger owls and was amused that, although fluffy, they seemed to defy the typical “cuteness” of baby animals. This inspired me to create a pair of owl portraits: one of an adult Great Horned Owl staring down the viewer, and another of a younger owl glaring out with the same intensity.
